Came across this on my ‘on this day’ on Facebook this morning, thought I’d share.
Today is not about the leprechauns, and it’s not about getting pinched because you’re not wearing green; it’s about a man many years ago doing what we should be doing as Christians, furthering God’s Kingdom around the world. He was devoted and determined to convert Ireland (he was British) to Christianity. Successfully, he died on March 17, 461 after converting over 135,000 people, establishing 300 churches, and consecrating 350 bishops.
Then in the comments, I added:
He also brought alcohol to Ireland. Hear hear!
Enjoy the day and enjoy your Friday. 🙂
